A competition persists across seasons. Meetings put dates and venues on the calendar; contests are the smallest independently scored units.

Canonical relationships
Each layer answers a different question and keeps historical performance attached to the correct contest and machine.
The competition is the recurring league or series. A season adds a bounded period without becoming the individual match or race.
An event groups dated activity at a venue. The discipline and its versioned rules define what each contest measures.
The contest is independently scored. Each entry binds a team to a physical robot and its contest-time hardware and software versions.
